So when it comes to your accounting, one of our non-negotiables, is that we never, ever offer once-per-year tax solutions. You cannot come to us once a year with a pile of receipts and bank statements purely to get financial reports and a tax return. We offer ongoing, monthly accounting that enables you to pull financial reports – and pick our brains – at any point that you need to in order to make empowered decisions that move your business forward. So the only time you are allowed to come to us with a year’s worth of paperwork to catch-up is when you join us!

Another of our non-negotiables is freedom. One of these freedoms, is the freedom to choose – so,everything we offer comes in packages – it is either a set package with a specific outcome, or it is an ongoing service package set to a specific service-level. We want you to get the exact solution that you need to grow your business, while also having the peace of mind that all the regulatory and compliance stuff is also being taken care of by people who know what they are doing.

Pharsyde pricing is built on two principles:

1. You shouldn’t pay for something you don’t want or need.
2. You shouldn’t ever be taken by surprise by an invoice.

The first thing we do to avoid surprises, is that we do not charge per hour. We work on a fixed-fee system, how that fixed-fee works is a little different, depending on which category of services you are looking at:

Financial Management Services

Our Financial Management Services are on fixed fees, but not a pre-determined fee sitting on a price list. We calculate your full accounting needs, for the entire year, and turn these into a monthly figure that is unique to you and your business – so you aren’t paying for something you don’t need but you also never, ever receive a surprise invoice for a compliance regulation you forgot about.

When creating this fixed fee, all legal compliance requirements are covered by assumption – because one of the things you rely on your accountant for, is to know the things you don’t know! So we assume you want full compliance and we include this in our quotes.

We have said it before, but it’s important to us, so we’ll repeat it: Pharsyde is all about freedom. Our core company value is freedom and we are very passionate about helping business owners create freedom. Including the freedom to choose. We allow you to choose the exact services that you need and, you don’t necessarily want all of your accounting from a single supplier. Therefore, we do give you the option to switch some services on and off. Plus, compliance differs depending on the size and complexity of your company. You don’t want to be paying for the compliance requirements of a midsize corporate when you are an SME.

So, instead of working with a set pricelist, we use the Effective Pricing Software which helps us to put together the exact service that you need, delivered within the exact manner that you want. It involves us walking you through a series of questions that determine the scope of the work for your business and offers you a series of additional services as they might appeal to you.

We also offer our Financial Management Services in tiered package choices: Sustain, Grow and Thrive. Compliance is assured no matter which package you choose. The main difference between the three is service levels because there is no point in paying for advice-on-call if you don’t actually want it!

A Sustain package is about ensuring that you have everything done that you legally need done. Your accounting compliance is our main focus, and we ensure this compliance, but there is very little proactive support.

Note: There are limitations to the Sustain package – this is our base-level package and the only reason it exists is because we know that there are businesses out there who consider accounting something that “has to be done” rather than the powerful tool it is for organisational transformation and growth. If you really only want to be compliant and have your tax done on time, then Sustain is for you, but if you are serious about taking your business to the next level, you need to consider Grow or Thrive.

Financial Transformation Services

Our Financial Transformation Services are packaged too, but not in service levels. They are packaged according to the outcome you decide is most important for your business – if you need more cash in the bank, then the Cashflow Improvement package is important to your business, whereas if you are trying to build something you want to sell in three years’ time, you need the outcome provided by our Value Creation package.

Financial Transformation services are supplied at a fixed rate off a price list, but it is a fixed rate that we know is well below the value they create for you. Simple, effective and easy to plan around. You can also choose between once-off transformations or ongoing monthly transformational support.

The Financial Transformation Services are not offered with a three-tier package option, because they are not built around boring compliance – they are built around specific outcomes. Valuable outcomes that change your business for the better. The only way to get these outcomes, is with a Thrive-level service, so that is the only level available.
